 Today in this post I will discuss some of the scholarships for the meritorious students who are studying medicine, engineering, or are going to do research on various subjects.


 Scholarship for B.tech. and Mbbs:


First of all, let's talk about merit cum means scholarship


Through this scheme of the central government, students from the minority communities of the country i.e. Muslims, Buddhists, Persians, Sikhs, Jains, etc.


Scholarship for Indian B.tech and MBBS students


 Prerequisites:


The annual income of the family should be within Rs. 250,000 as a measure of the financial condition of the family.

The student has to get 50 percent marks in the previous exam.

That student will be admitted after passing the entrance exam.

Course fees and maintenance fees are paid directly to the bank account of the undergraduate and postgraduate students.


Certificate of Income should be obtained from the concerned officer of the area where the student or his / her family resides.

No more than two members of the same family will receive this scholarship.


Must study regularly in the institution. In other words, the status of a regular student given by the authorities of the institution should be in favor of the student.


In the case of MBBS students, the student will not get the scholarship grant when he/she does the internship.

The applicant must have an Aadhaar link in his bank account.


Where and how to apply:


Students will register by visiting the National Scholarship Portal. Apply online by filling in all the information correctly.


Amount of scholarship money:


In the case of MERIT CUM MEANS SCHOLARSHIP, the student is given a scholarship of Rs. 10,000 per annum.


When to apply:


Merit-cum-means scholarships are applied for at different times of the year in different states. But roughly between October and February.


SC living in Delhi. , ST., OBC, And minority students will apply by January-February.


Apply for the National Merit-cum-Mins Scholarship by November-December.


Students from West Bengal will apply by October-November.


                               IOCL Scholarship


Very few engineering students are awarded scholarships by the Indian Oil Corporation.


300 students from the engineering department are paid Rs. 3,000 per student per month for four years.


M.B.B.S. Among its students, 200 students are given scholarships for four years at the rate of Rs 3,000 per month.


This scholarship is given to 100 MBA students for Rs. 3000 per month for two years.


Required Qualifications:



Applicants must be admitted in the first year. And of course the UGC. , In an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.

 Ordinary students have to get 65% marks.

 S.C., ST, OBC 60% of women and

 Physically disabled students should have got 50% marks.

The family income of the applicant should be within 100,000 (one lakh) rupees.

The applicant should in no way be an employee of IOCL or any of his family.


Age:


Age should be between 15-30 years as of the date of September. The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBCs, 5 years for SC, STs, and 10 years for the physically challenged.


Reservation:


S.C., ST. And 50% for OBCs and 10% for the physically challenged. And there is a 25% reservation for students from each department.


In the case of OBCs, the OBC list of the Central Government is the only acceptable one. A separate list of state governments is not acceptable in this case.


Application Procedure:


You have to apply online. Go to the official website of IOCL.


Application time:


Apply for this scholarship in October-November.


Pickup:


The merit list is prepared according to merit. The merit list is selected one after the other.



           Central Sector Scholarship Scheme


Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for Colleges and Universities - This government scheme provides scholarships to 82,000 students. Out of which 41000 students and 41000 female students get this scholarship.


Who will apply:


In addition to medical and engineering college and university students who are studying in various undergraduate and postgraduate vocational courses, they can also apply for this scholarship.


Age and prerequisites:


Must be between 18-25 years of age. The concerned applicant should have passed the 10 + 2 exam with 80 percentile. Also, the applicant must be admitted to a college approved by AICTE or a university recognized by UGC and take regular classes.


Reservation Policy:


There is a provision of 15% for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes, 22% for OBCs, and 5% for the physically challenged.



Amount of Scholarship:


B.TECH and B.E. Students will get a scholarship for three years at Rs 10,000 per year. However, in the case of renewal, suitable conditions must be fulfilled.



Family Income:


The family income should be within 800,000 (eight lakh) rupees per year.


When to apply:


Usually, in the month of May-June, you have to apply online.


              O.N.G.C. Scholarship


 ONGC provides scholarships to meritorious students to study engineering and medical sciences.


Engineering students can apply for ONGC's B.TECH SCHOLARSHIP if they are admitted in the first year after passing the higher secondary with 60% marks. Besides, ONGC offers scholarships to all those who have been admitted in the first year of MBBS and those who have been admitted to MBA. In all the cases, the candidates should get 60% marks and be admitted as regular students in the concerned department.


 Besides, those who have been admitted to a two-year post-graduate course in Geology and Geophysics are also eligible to apply.


Engineering, MBBS, MBA, and Geophysics and Geology are divided into four sections.


Each student is given a scholarship of Rs. 4,000 per month and a total of Rs. 48,000 per year.


 494 students in the engineering department for four years, MBBS. 90 students for four years, MBA. Scholarships are given to 146 students for two years and to 270 post-graduate students of Geology / Geophysics for two years. In all cases, scholarships are given at the rate of Rs 4,000 per month. A total of Rs 48,000 is given per year.


This scholarship is given to 1000 people every year by ONGC.


The number of these 1000 scholarships is divided into five zones of the country. The number of scholarships is 200 in each zone.


Zone-1 includes Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.


Zone-2 consists of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Goa-Daman-Diu, Dadra-Nagar-Haveli.


 

Zone-3 Includes Assam, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura.


Zone-4 includes Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, and West Bengal.


Zone-5 includes Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Pondicherry, Lakshadweep, and Andaman and the Nicobar Islands.


Prerequisites:



The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Applicant Engineering, MBBS. At its undergraduate level, postgraduate in Geology or Geophysics or MBA. Must be admitted as a regular student in the first year of the course.

The annual income of the family should be within 450,000 (four lakh and fifty thousand) rupees.

The age of the applicant should be within 30 (thirty) years as per the date of calculation of the prescribed age mentioned in the advertisement of the application.

                 North-South Foundation Scholarship


North-South Foundation Scholarships are available at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar. On Engineering and Medical in Hyderabad, Pune, Madurai, Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata, Jodhpur, Nagercoil, Patna, Udaipur, Patiala, Chandigarh, Moradabad.


The above students can take part in the competition.


The family income should be within 100,000 (one lakh) rupees.

The amount of scholarship is 5000 rupees 15000 rupees per year.

30,000 (thirty) thousand rupees a year for a maximum of three years.


Conclusion:


Given the current economic situation, if you are a general lower or middle class, this type of scholarship continues to play a very effective role for meritorious students in increasing the cost of higher education. That is why poor but meritorious students can fulfill their dream of higher education if they get the opportunity of such scholarships. If the opportunities for such scholarships increase in the future, more and more poor but talented students will get more opportunities to pursue higher education in a developing country like ours.

চলো যাই গ্যাংটক- পর্ব -১  ছোটবেলার সেই দিন গুলির কথা মনে পড়ে বারে বারে।সেদিনের ক্লাসে বাংলা শিক্ষকের দার্জিলিং ও গ্যাংটক যাওয়ার বর্ণনা আজও আমায় স্বপ্নের জগতে ভাসিয়ে নিয়ে যায়।নীল আকাশের গায়ে সাদা পেঁজা তুলোর মতো মেঘের ভেসে বেড়ানোর গল্প ,মাঝে মাঝে ধোঁয়ার মতো মেঘ- ঘরের মাঝে ঢুকে যাওয়ার গল্প,আমায় যে কোন জগতে নিয়ে যেত-তা আমি ভাষায় বলতে পারি নে।  মেঘের দেশে সেই তখন থেকেই স্বপ্ন দেখেছি। বড়ো হয়ে একটি বারের জন্য মেঘ ছুঁয়ে আসবো।আর সে ইচ্ছেটা পূরণ হইতেই সেটা খানিক কইতে না পারলে বোধকরি আয়েশ মেটে না ।যাইহোক, নেট দুনিয়ার দৌলতে একটুখানি অভিজ্ঞতা সঞ্চয়পূর্ব্বক, পাড়ি দিলুম গ্যাংটক যাত্রা উদ্দেশ্যে -সোজাসুজি হাওড়া স্টেশনে।সংরক্ষিত কামরার টিকিট অবশ্যি আগেভাগেই কাটা ছিল।  দিনটা ছিল ৩রা অক্টোবর ২০১৮। শীতটা তখনো পড়েনি। বেশ গরম গরম-ই বটে। হাওড়া স্টেশন। দক্ষিণ -পূর্ব রেলের এই বর্ণময় স্টেশনটি যেন সারা ভারতবাসীর এক মিলনক্ষেত্র। স্টেশনে পৌঁছনোর সাথে সাথে মনটা যেন এক অনাবিল আনন্দে ভরে গেল।মনটা যেন ছটপট করছিল কখন চেপে বসব গন্তব্যের ট্রেনে।ইলেক্ট্রনিক্স বোর্ডের দিকে তাকাতে তাকাতে যখন হাওড়া স্টেশন
